Fall Swap Meet- Toccoa Georgia November 16, 2019
November 16, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeThe Dixie Jewels Insulator Club’s Fall swap meet, hosted by Tom, Mike and Casey Herron, will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Toccoa, Georgia. The swap will be held at Mitchell Allen Memorial Hall, located at the historic Toccoa Depot and next door to the Currahee Military Museum. The Toccoa Depot has been restored to its original appearance in 1940 and showcases the history of Toccoa and Stephens County, Georgia, along with many artifacts detailing the lives and experiences of the men in the 506th Airborne Infantry Regiment who trained for combat missions at nearby Camp Toccoa, made famous by the hit HBO miniseries, “Band of Brothers”. Tours of the museum can be arranged for those interested at minimal cost. Around 15 tables will be available, so please contact Mike Herron before the swap to reserve your sales table. If all those tables are spoken for, plan to bring your own table. There is lots of room in the meeting hall and there will be a great assortment of insulators for sale. Admission is free and there is no charge to set up a sales table. Lunch will be provided and others are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert or drinks to complement the meal. Mark your calendars now for a terrific day of awesome insulators and fellowship in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia. For more information contact MIKE HERRON at (706) 599-4705 or e-mail hern@truvista.net.
